Wow... anyone taking this woman seriously might just be from a Wanner Bro cartoon. You know the guy that see the girl across the street and his eye pop out of his head, cause mine have fallen out of my head. I live in NV and every time I see an ad spot from Angle, I think "WHAT IS her ANGLE?" She makes me feel like I am watching Macgyver and she is taking the least likely items in the bag to use to save us from the ticking bomb, ONLY shes the bomb.

I understand that we are in Las Vegas and we are used to a long shot. However, electing her might be as useful as betting on a horse with no legs in quicksand! I always find it hard when politicians on either side make assumption that they know how we feel, how we live, and how they can solve our problems, when most of them are too busy trying to cover their past (tracks) by throw money down on the campaign trail. I bet most of them use reality TV shows as research in to there constituents. Just so know, I don't know ANYONE named Snookie, or the Situation! Politicians, stop acting like you have an incite on our lives. The movement lately has been to MOVE away from intelligent political leaders, "THE Elite". I want someone smarter than me running the country. In the words of Forest Gump, "Stupid is what Stupid does"

I`m not much for soccer... Kick the ball, hit the ball with your head. Some times when I watch it, I just want to scream out "Pick up the ball!"

It is the only sport I know of that won`t allow you to use your hands, other than hockey. But they use a puck and I don`t see trying to catch something going 90 MPH!
I`ve been told that Soccer players are the most physically fit athletes in any sport. They literally run miles on the field.

Will Says... Manners Matters!

For the longest time I have been telling my readers that communication is what is missing in this world. Talking to each other. This idea of talking and listening, really listening is one of the cheapest way to fix a problem. Trust me when I say that as a guy I have spent an awful lot of money in my relationships on flowers or what I call romantic band-aids. When in reality, listening and not talking would have saved me a bundle!

That brings me to my point and my new direction. Something I see everyday that guys and gals do wrong or don't do at all, manners!

Manners is the type of thing that you can't help someone with at the time it is NOT happening. Here is what I mean:

If you see a guy walking with his lady and he comes to a door and does not open it for her, You can't run up and help the guy out. If you did it would make the guy look bad, and it might also make you look bad when he punches you for opening up the door for his lady.

I hope you all get my point. Because my next series of cartoons "Will Say ... Manners Matter" will focus on... Manners, that simple.

With all the social media, social networking, the biggest thing I see missing is social graces, so here we go!

Church and State of confusion

Well today is Easter Sunday and it looks like the Easter Bunny was trumped by the scandal in the church. They laid an egg that beat all previous years ... In size. Of course as good as the Easter bunny is at hiding, the church has been at that game a lot longer. This rotton egg has been broken wide open, bad timing and bad for attendance.
I saw a report that said that recently attendance for the chatholic church was up. The church has admitted it was probably due to marketing they produced. I say it has to do with the shape of the country. Folks tend to clink to "things" - faith..., when times are down and bank accounts are low. But reports also show that thing, our econmy, maybe looking up,lf you are on the side of the isle that beleives that. Yesterday I see that a poll came out in California. It said that a good amount of Californians approve of the new health care reform. Of course the reform is new but taking care of ones health is not. However, taking care of folks as a duty to humanity changed a long time ago when they realized you could charge for human suffering and the repair of it. I know that some folks might say "well, take that poll a little more Mid... West and you might see a tip in the scales. Some folks might also ask, " was that poll including immigrants, or just immigrants.

Well, not much more out their on the bunny trail today. I hope what ever you and your family celebrate today, it brings the family closer together, cause that is what life is about.

Oh, I do have a plan for this whole church debacle. I say raises the age of alter boys to say 20. Thats the thing about power, it is harder to over power someone when you are standing eye to eye. That should make the playing field more level OR get rid of the playing field all together!

Just in case you don`t know someone who can`t afford the doctor bills, I do. And that woman raised 3 boys alone, working as a nurse. But things happen and folks need help. I try to help as much as I can, but should I kick her to the curb if she can`t pay? Read below and in your God`s words:

You shall love your neighbor as yourself.

Maybe you folks that don`t want this to pass are confusing bible passages; it is about "loving your neighbor "not" turning the other cheek".

Some have said to this cowboy "maybe you don`t have faith in the Lord!" and I say - maybe you don`t have faith in people, because I do.

One step forward, two steps back... But you have to take the first step!

This next couple days are most likely the most important days of the rest of our life's. The old saying "today is the first day of the rest of your life!" should be the motto of our president and this health care debate.
Republicans have figure out something that Democrats have not..., keep holding back healthcare until it will be too late to see anything good come from it . . ., then have an election and see who the people vote for.

Hopefully folks see through that trick. Republicans are pulling a filibuster outside of .... Congressional and Senate hours of business, if you believe me, flip on AM talk radio and listen to the right talk and talk and talk. That is why I have never understood talk radio, rarly does anyone but the get a chance to talk. Plus most of the time it is yelling.

Maybe our President should run this healthcare debate like a game show ... The minute he is done posing the bill, the clock starts ... and if they don't answer in time the buzzer goes off, which means they don't know the answer, then the point goes to the other side. But like any other game their is a time limit. Who ever has the most points in the end wins the game.

Now I saw a video tonight that truely disturbed me. This video was of a man who did not have healthcare and he was at a rally that was opposing President obama's health care plan as it stands. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6ik4f1dRbP8&feature=youtube_gdata

Now we have seen how folks were behaving at town hall meetings a while back. So I am not sure why this gentleman would subject himself to something like this, other than true bravery and desperation, however... He did. Watch the video ...
It is just sad! A spokeswoman for Americans for Prosperity, which helped organize the rally, said the treatment of letcher was inappropriate.
I don't want to stand here and point fingers because it would be a waste of time. Time and money are two things this country is short on.
My mother has Parkinson's diseases and to watch this video it makes me lose hope in people, but I will bounce back and I hope you will to. But to have grown man in business's dress (slacks and a tie) throwing money at someone who can not do anymore than hope for a better way to end of life is unfair. I dont think he is their for a cure, because even if they had a cure, he would not see it if he did not have health care to pay for it. But maybe he is hoping that someone understands his pain, his fellow bothers and sisters, his fellow American. What is the differences between this man having Parkinson's or this man right a that moment having a car accident and all thoughs people saying "so what you crashed, pick yourself up and get to the hospital!. You don't have insurance, then don't take an ambulance's cause we the tax payers will have to pay for it, and it ain't cheap!".

PLEASE don't defend health care at that moment, just help a fellow human being. If you saw a dog that was limping on the road as you were driving home, would you stop and help it? WHAT is the difference?
Let me put it in a much simpler question that most everyone could understand: given the same situation with that man... WHAT would Jesus do? You don't even need to be religious to answer that one, just understand the concept. But, if you are religious let me refresh your memory: love your neighbor as yourself... Read on please.

Well today started off as a slow news day. Then as the day went on it still was not moving very fast. The worst thing to happen to a reporter is to have nothing to report. Some media folks will throw themselfs out in front of a moving car if it is too slow. Well just as I was on the way into work, I GOT THE STORY, and with no harm caused in the proccess. I am lucky enough that my way into work provides me with the best concentrated view of Las Vegas, the "in a nut shell" viewing of what Vegas is all about.
